Ludwig Minkus

Don Quixote

Дон Кихот

Don Quixote by Ludwig Minkus is a masterpiece of classical ballet, created at the Bolshoy in the XIX century by the great choreographer Marius Petipa. It’s a classic example of the Moscow style, with its virtuosity, technical bravura, characteristic movement and prominent parts. A production of long and bountiful history that managed to outlive many others, Don Quixote perseveres today in a classical version with additional choreography by Alexey Fadeyechev.
